Poland’s LNG terminal’s capacity to be increased – gov’t commissioner

The annual capacity of the LNG terminal in Świnoujście, north-west Poland is to reach 7.5 billion cubic metres of gas, government commissioner for strategic energy infrastructure Piotr Naimski said on Wednesday.

Currently, the three-year-old terminal may process up to 5 billion cubic metres of gas shipped to Poland by tankers. Naimski added that a third gas tank, slightly bigger then those already existing, to be built by 2023, will allow raising the terminal’s regasification capacity to up to 10 billion cubic metres….
